Attorney Jack Cheng was born in Hubei, China. He holds a Bachelor of American Literature, Juris Doctor Degree in Law. Mr. Cheng is a licensed lawyer of the Supreme Court of California and the Federal Ninth Circuit Court. Since 2006, Mr. Cheng has been a broker of the California Real Estate Board, and a licensed member of the California Insurance Agency. Mr. Cheng ’s practice focuses on litigation related to international business transactions, company law, contracts and real estate, due diligence in related backgrounds, and real estate-related document reviews (including residential and commercial real estate transactions).
Since 2010, Mr. Cheng has represented clients in many interesting cases in both trial and appellate stages. Mr. Cheng is proud to help clients achieve their litigation goals and maximize their remedy. Mr. Cheng is very happy to share his experience in the Chinese community and raise everyone's legal awareness. He currently serves as vice-chairman of the Chinese American Political Alliance, director of United Asian American Entrepreneurs. Mr. Cheng is willing to help people in need of legal assistance, as well as other non-profit organizations and serve on the board of directors.
Mr. Cheng often participates in seminars and forums on topics of corporate overseas mergers and acquisitions, legal risk forums, litigation, and various legal public seminars. Mr. Cheng interviews with major media in Los Angeles on specific events. Adhering to faith of justice, Mr. Cheng treats every case with a high sense of responsibility and rigorous work style. So far, he has undertaken nearly 1,000 civil and commercial cases, involving civil litigation, company disputes, real estate mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and commercial arbitration. Mr. Cheng does his utmost the best to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties with professional knowledge and skills.
Mr. Cheng is also enthusiastic about helping the community, participating in the mediation and resolving conflicts of private institutions. His pro bono service has been well received by all circles.
